Marie Vrakking is a seasoned finance professional with more than 20 years of experience in asset management, cross-asset investment strategy, and research. Now based in Switzerland as an independent consultant, she advises on global macro, fixed income, private credit, and emerging markets, bringing clients a nuanced perspective shaped by decades of industry expertise. Before relocating to Switzerland, she held senior positions, including Vice President of Finance and Operations at a leading pharmaceutical company, as well as Vice President, strategist, and research analyst at prominent investment management firms. Her background demonstrates a rare blend of corporate finance, operations, and high-level investment strategy, fostering confidence among clients and partners.
Marie holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing, executive education from Wharton and Columbia Business Schools in ESG, strategy, and sustainability, an MS in International Finance from Brandeis University, and an MS in Economics from Northeastern University. Deeply committed to advancing women’s health and financial empowerment, she contributes actively to Women in Science Switzerland and is a member of 100 Women in Finance and CFA Switzerland.
